Where it came from
The takeoff tool we built for Project Floors & Design solved a problem every flooring estimator has: measuring from a floor plan by hand. A tool that good was worth more as a product than as a one-off. So we made it one, and Project Floors still runs on it every day.
What it does
AreaSum helps flooring estimators do their numbers fast and get them right. Calculators for the common jobs, and a carpet cut optimiser that works out the most efficient way to cut a room from a roll.
It runs on the same stack we use for client work: Next.js, Supabase and Stripe, deployed on Vercel.
Why it matters if you hire us
