Why we build our own product
Most agencies have never had to live with what they ship. We wanted to. AreaSum is a real product with real users, which means we feel every decision the way an owner does, not the way a vendor does.
That changes how we build for everyone else. We sweat reliability, we test properly, and we care about the thing still working in a year.
What it does
AreaSum helps flooring estimators do their numbers fast and get them right. It has calculators for the common jobs and a carpet cut optimiser that works out the most efficient way to cut a room from a roll.
It is built on the modern web stack we use for client work: Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe, deployed on Vercel.
Built to a standard
AreaSum is backed by 696 automated tests. That is not a vanity number. It is how a small team ships changes quickly without breaking the thing people rely on.
It is the same standard we bring to everything we build. If it is going to carry real work, it gets built properly.
