Every quote started with a manual takeoff. Someone would sit down with the floor plan, a ruler, and a printer, and work out the areas by hand. A commercial job could eat half a day. A straightforward residential one still took around forty minutes.

That time came straight out of the people best placed to win more work. The busier they got, the worse the squeeze, and hiring just to keep up with measuring was not the answer.

We built a takeoff tool that works straight from the floor plan. Draw the rooms, and it does the areas, the cuts, and the numbers in one pass. No ruler, no printer, no double-handling.

It fits how the team already quotes, so there was nothing new to learn beyond the tool itself. And because it runs in the browser, the owner can watch the team using it from his phone.

The half-day commercial takeoff now takes minutes. The forty-minute residential one takes minutes too. Same accuracy, a fraction of the time, and the hours go back into winning and running jobs.

That extra capacity did not need a single new hire. The ruler and the printer have been retired.
